Stop - smell the roses....Ruby Smith - here.

I need to slow down and smell the roses (sorry guys no pics of roses at this stage, only a geranium). Yes, I keep saying it but never really do it!  My shoulders are always tense & aching. Majority of the time I feel stressed and tired and I basically feel like crap, running around in circles in life and in a job that I no longer get satisfaction from. Yes, I know I'm not the only one. But I choose not to live like this anymore, (ha I actually have a choice in this....well I'll be...) lately I have truly recognised I am capable of so much more, and it's not as hard as I always made it out to be. Just open the right doors and walk right through with my head up, don't be scared. (no boogey man will come and get me)

I want to laugh more, love, sing, dance, run, play, create and love life! Follow happiness, take risks and squish fear between my fingers. Life is good.

There really is so much more out there in this big world. Yes a cliche I know, but it doesn't have to be. That's my choice, because it's my LIFE. LIFE can be so GRAND. Yes it can. I know it can. It's not a myth. So I've decided to start this blog, to share my journey and my passions, and for once really own up to myself. I decided that if I share my blog in the wide open space of the blog world, I am accountable for one, and can maybe share and support others through my life path.

So I will stop a little, breath more, laugh and play more, I do have the freedom to do this, so yes, I owe it to myself. How about treating ourselves fairly and with unconditional love. Pretty cool hey.....
